Update: Knicks president Donnie Walsh confirmed that he is engaged in talks with the Grizzlies about a possible trade involving Randolph, the New York Daily News reports.
Analysis: "There is no deal," Walsh said Saturday. "We've spoken to Memphis but there is nothing happening so far." The Knicks would receive Darko Milicic and Marko Jaric in return for Randolph in a deal designed to give New York some salary cap space in 2010.
Monta Ellis: Lied About Injury
Update: Ellis lied to the Warriors about how he sustained his ankle injury two weeks ago, the San Jose Mercury News reports. According to a team source, the Warriors know that Ellis' ankle injury occurred "outdoors and now while playing basketball."
